Yep, that little walnut-sized gland most blokes don't think about until they're having trouble peeing, getting older or hearing the words prostate cancer.
But there's a whole lot more going on down there than you might realise.
Your prostate sits below your bladder, contributes fluid to your semen and is surrounded by structures involved in urinary and sexual function.
And then there's your pelvic floor.
Yes, gentlemen, you've got one too!
Those muscles help control your bladder and bowel, and play a role in erections and ejaculation.
But here's something worth knowing: a tight pelvic floor isn't necessarily a strong one. Sometimes those muscles need strengthening, sometimes relaxing, and sometimes better coordination.
Now, let's talk about an area of the male body that doesn't get nearly enough attention.
The perineum is the area between your scrotum and anus, and beneath it lies an important part of your pelvic floor.
Gentle massage and stimulation around this area can help some men release pelvic floor tension, encourage relaxation and become more aware of the muscles involved in urinary control and sexual function.
And because the prostate sits deeper within the pelvis, this is sometimes referred to as external prostate stimulation.
While there isn't established evidence that perineal massage directly improves prostate health, supporting healthy pelvic floor function is an important part of men's urinary and sexual wellbeing.
The prostate is also sometimes called the male G-spot, because stimulation can produce pleasurable sensations for some men.
And there's nothing unusual about that. Sexual pleasure and sexual orientation are two entirely different things.
Understanding these parts of your body isn't something to feel embarrassed about. It's part of understanding your health, function and sexual wellbeing.
At VIKTOR, I offer specialised prostate and pelvic floor bodywork incorporating internal and external techniques, massage and purpose-selected aids.
We explore pelvic floor awareness, sensation, relaxation and sexual wellbeing in a private, individual setting, with your comfort, boundaries and consent discussed beforehand.
And no, this isn't simply about chasing an orgasm.
It's about understanding your body, how it functions and what feels good.
One important distinction: prostate massage isn't an established treatment for prostate cancer, enlargement or prostatitis. Persistent urinary changes or pelvic pain deserve medical assessment.
Your body. Your function. Your pleasure.
YOUR PROSTATE & PELVIC FLOOR SESSIONS
-
THE COMPLETE PROSTATE & PELVIC FLOOR EXPERIENCE | 60 MINUTES $205
Schedule Your 60 min sessionNew to prostate and pelvic floor massage? This is where we begin.
Before we start exploring the prostate and pelvic floor, there's something else I pay attention to. Your nervous system.
Because if you're feeling nervous, self-conscious or wondering what to expect, your body may be sitting in fight-or-flight mode.
And gentlemen, that's not exactly where we want to begin!
We start with nervous system-focused massage, allowing time for you to settle, become comfortable and move away from that heightened state of alertness.
From there, we gradually progress into specialised external and internal prostate and pelvic floor bodywork, incorporating vibrating and non-vibrating aids where appropriate.
It's not about rushing straight to the prostate. It's about understanding how your body responds, working with your nervous system and giving you time to experience the different sensations involved.
Your body sets the pace. I guide the session.
We can also explore pelvic floor awareness, muscle control and the relationship between your pelvic floor, erections, ejaculation and sexual pleasure.
Every technique is discussed beforehand, with your comfort, boundaries and consent guiding the experience.
Because there's a whole lot more to this work than simply stimulating the prostate.

ONGOING PROSTATE & PELVIC FLOOR MAINTENANCE | 30 MINUTES $125
Schedule Your 30 min sessionFor men already familiar with prostate and pelvic floor bodywork.
Once you've experienced the longer session and become familiar with the techniques, your body's responses and what works for you, a shorter maintenance session may be suitable.
These focused appointments incorporate specialised internal and external techniques according to your individual needs, comfort and preferences.
Whether your focus is pelvic floor awareness, sexual sensation, prostate stimulation or simply continuing the bodywork you've come to enjoy, we build on the familiarity established in previous sessions.
Less time getting acquainted. More time focusing on the work you're already comfortable with.
Because maintaining your sexual wellbeing deserves attention too.
