A natural-looking tan does more than add colour. It creates contrast across the body, making muscle definition appear sharper and skin tone look more even. The result should look like you’ve had some sun — not like you’ve had a spray tan.
Whether it’s for an event, holiday, photos or simply because you prefer yourself with some colour, your tan is matched to your skin tone and the depth you want.
Natural. Even. Defined. Never overdone.
BEFORE YOUR TAN
For the most even result, exfoliate 24 hours beforehand, paying particular attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees and ankles.
Do any shaving or waxing beforehand rather than immediately after your tan. For waxing, I'd allow around 24–48 hours before tanning, particularly if the skin is still sensitive.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid moisturiser, deodorant, fragrance or oils immediately before your appointment as they can interfere with how the tanning solution develops.
AFTER YOUR TAN
Wear dark, loose clothing after your appointment while your colour develops.
Avoid getting wet, heavy sweating and applying products until it's time for your first rinse according to the solution you've had.
Once developed, moisturise regularly to help maintain an even fade.
From around day five, gentle exfoliation can help the colour fade more evenly rather than becoming patchy.
And importantly:
A SPRAY TAN IS NOT SUN PROTECTION.
Having colour on your skin doesn't replace sunscreen.
You've chosen the tan without the UV. Keep it that way.
